Just like to know please. Theres no point in ranting at me to get a job because this is just a random question.

Thanks. How much housing benefit and council tax benefit is a married man on JSA entitled too?
Hi I work for benefits, there is no way to tell you how much you could get without knowing all your details, how much rent you pay, do you privately rent if so are you under 25 also your BRMA area and LHA rate etc etc. For council tax you would qualify for full benefit (all of your council tax paid) however rent is a lot more tricky as there are a lot of if's and's and but's in benefit legislation, the only people who could really give you an accurate figure is your local councilHow much housing benefit and council tax benefit is a married man on JSA entitled too?
its depends on what type of JSA you are on. If you are on Income based JSA your entire eleigible rent and council tax will be covered.

If its contribution based it might be the same but we would need to consider what other income was going into the house from partner etc and any savings and so on. We would need more information.

Nice idea to ask the Job Centre but they will NOT be able to answer you they do not have the skills
It depends where in the county you live and if you're living in local authority housing.

if no one else in your household works....

If you are in local authority housing, the whole rent will be paid.

As i understand it, if you are living in privately rented accommodation the amount depends on the amount of rooms that you are classed to need (based on the number of people in you household) and the local rent rates in your area

have a look on you city/county councils website where it should be explained
Hi!

This is just a random answer:

Wouldn't your advisor at the job centre be able to calculate it for you?

Give 'em a ring tomorrow!
