All my exes would have had a conniption fit. If they were ever massaged by a female friend or co-worker, they were smart enough to not let me know about it. It's highly inappropriate.Ladies, as a married woman is it appropriate for you to be voluntarily massaged by a male friend or coworker?
I think it depends on the context. I mean, a friend massaging the tension out of the shoulders when in pain is perfectly acceptable. I think it would also be acceptable if the friend was a professional masseuse and simply doing his job. In both of those cases, it would either be doing a favor or having a business relationship. But if it goes beyond the innocent, then there is a problem (unless there is full knowledge and consent from my partner). The same would go if positions were reversed. Remember, there is a difference between a massage and fondling.
Not only is it unprofessional in the workplace, even if you aren't married to someone else, it is inappropriate to do outside of work as well. That kind of thing should not be done once you're married. You know, that whole ';faithful only to you'; part? ; )
We're talking about a married couple here. Even for an unmarried couple, either is unacceptable under any circumstances.
If that's not his profession and he doesn't not receive pay (money) for it, then its inappropriate for either gender to get massaged.
i'm not a massaging person. it's not my skill it's not my job so it's not acceptable.
