I just fot married by civil and now I need to start preparing my actual weeding. Where do i start?

I just got married yesterday. We got married in a chapel just the two of us. Now It's time to start saving for my real weeding which we plan for next December 2010. How much is the average cost? for a middle class weeding? How did you prepare your weeding?I just fot married by civil and now I need to start preparing my actual weeding. Where do i start?
I assume you mean ';real wedding'; as in reception. I understand what you mean.

IF you are going to go ahead and have this, i would just say have a ';Reception';, although a year ahead is a bit far. Depending on how many guests and what you want included would be the costs. You didnt mention that,.I just fot married by civil and now I need to start preparing my actual weeding. Where do i start?
You had your real/actual wedding. You think the legal civil wedding was just playing house in the backyard? If so, you have no business getting married in the first place because you have no clue as to the solemnity of the legal paperwork you signed. It's things like that that make marriage such a joke to so many people anymore because they don't take any of it seriously. And then people wonder why the divorce rate is so high on top of that?
Your ceremony yesterday was your actual wedding. You don't get two of them. The one next year is simply a vow renewal ceremony so I suggest you don't go over the top and have a bridal party, white dress, huge reception, expect gifts, etc. You should have waited until you could afford your ';real wedding'; before you got married yesterday.
You learn how to spell wedding correctly, and you don't get a do-over. Your civil ceremony was your ';real'; wedding. Won't it feel hollow wearing the white dress, exchanging vows and being pronounced husband and wife when you've been married for a number of months? I can't see why you couldn't wait in the first place if you wanted a ';real'; wedding.
I liked the first answer ... a pair of garden gloves and shovel. Really, that is all you need for weeding. It really isn't that expensive either. A pair of garden gloves runs about $5 or less. I prepare for weeding by wetting the garden so that the weeds come out a little easier when you pull them.

Happy weeding!
Your ';actual'; wedding took place yesterday. If you are planning a large-scale party for some date at the end of next year, go for it. But calling it a wedding makes the whole thing look like a shameless attempt at a gift-grab.
You had a wedding yesterday....but now are preparing for another wedding in 2010?? You only get one wedding.

Congratulations!
Honey, you had your REAL wedding yesterday.
A pair of gardening gloves and a shovel.
A real wedding? You just had your wedding in a chapel.
Um, that was your ';real'; wedding. Sorry.
you are already married. why do you need to prepare for a weeding?
Wow i dont understand why everyone is making such a big deal about this i am legally married now have been for a few weeks and im not having a wedding until october. I think its a good idea to marry legally first then have a wedding after. Youll save alot of money if things dont work out. But anyways...It depends alot on where you live for how much. My fiance and i are having a middle class wedding for 3000 but we live in ohio so most things are relatively cheap. You need to get a venue a place for reception, a dress, a tux, groomsmen, bridesmaids, flower girl, ring bearer, flowers, decotations, food/catering...and probably a million other things....you could check out some of these sites
