I'm getting married on November 8th and want to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon. How's the weather at that time?

It's not so much which island you visit as which side of the island. Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai have big enough volcanoes that there is a rainy side (windward, koolau) and a dry side (leeward, kona). Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai have swamps on top of their largest mountains. The largest volcanoes on Hawaii and Maui have summits above the tree line, and sometimes get snow in the winter when it storms.

Because of the volcanoes--and mountains left when volcanoes crumbled into the sea a few million years ago--there are several small microclimates in each of the major islands. For years, I lived in a mediterranean climate, with about 15 inches of rain in a typical year. One summer this town got only 7 hundredths of an inch of rain between May and October! But I used to commute five days a week to a different climate, seven miles away and about a thousand feet up, that got twice as much rain.

So usually, when it's raining in the mountains or on the windward side, it's sunny at south and west facing beaches. And very often, there's a rainbow in between. No rain, no rainbows! No rain in the mountains, no waterfalls!

November is the start of the rainy season. There's a small chance that when you're here, a kona storm will come along, drawing moist air from equatorial regions, dump rain all over the islands for days, and cause flash flooding in several locations. But there's a better chance that you'll find a sunny beach somewhere, every day that you're here.

Also November is the start of humpback whale season. The 8th is a bit early in the season, but later in the month, you might spot some on a whale cruise. If I were you, I'd come in November.I'm getting married on November 8th and want to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon. How's the weather at that time?
November is right in the middle of our ';wet'; season. I would not suggest you plan for an outdoor wedding at that time without having an indoor backup plan in case as showers are frequent. Depending on where you are in the island, showers are a daily occurence regardless of season but whether or not they stick around will be determined by the prevailing weather pattern in the Pacific that day.

Hope that helps........congratulations!I'm getting married on November 8th and want to go to Hawaii for my honeymoon. How's the weather at that time?
The weather here is warm and sunny year round. Mornings a get a little rain to water the islands(that's what makes it so green here), then we get lots of sun with clouds to keep cool, and a beautiful trade wind that make our temperature's perfect.

No matter when you come, it always a go time :D

Aloha and good luck
I got married Nov.3 last year. It rained 2 days prior- the ground was muddy and they had to move our location 2 times within Bishop Museum. On our wedding day- It was nice-- until about 10 pm when everything wound down. Then it STORMED for 2 days. But by then we were off on our cruise! :)

It really just depends. Is it an outdoor wedding? Nov is the start of the rainy season- so I would have a back up location if it is an outdoor afair. Good Luck!
the weather is always nice there , it is a little more windy in the winter and the mornings are a little bit cool and it rains every day for just a few min.but its always nice there , but just like every where else the times are changing.
far as I know, Hawaii weather is the same year round. Best to take a umbrella never know when it rains.
